It has been a very exciting past few days campaigning around Wake County. I haven’t met one person who hasn’t understood that eminent domain is a very pressing issue. That the abuse of that official power has made it so no one is safe in his or her own homes, shops or even places of worship. Every where I have requested to place a home made sign in a yard not one person has turned me down. They all seem sick of professional politicians and bureaucrats meddling in their lives. Even in this low office with the very limited power it offers an opportunity to stand against big government abuse of the people. I would love to write more but I have more work to do and places to go with people to visit. All I ask is that you get out and vote and don’t forget the Soil and Water Conservation Race it is on the back of your ballots. Send them a message about eminent domain abuse elect Joy Elliott in that race.
